saving all my emails ???????????

I am getting a new PC and want to save all my emails on dvd I am running XP
pro what folder do I copy?

You should have mentioned what email program you are using. If it's OE then
just right click on any email folder and select properties, the path to the
store folder for all the dbx files will be displayed. Copy that folder. On
the new machine copy that folder to your new hard drive and in OE click
File, Import, Messages, and find the stored folder that you copied from the
dvd.

Make sure the dbx files are not Read Only after copying to your hard drive.

Outlook what? There's more than one version, just like there's more than
one Chevrolet model and year.

The MS Office update took my 2K SP3 version to a auto backup routine which I
installed, Backs up all to a location of my choice in pst file format.
There's also the manual backup in the file menu of Outlook.
