I've just complete a movie with Windows Movie Maker and I'm wanting to import the file into Sony's "Click to DVD". In order to do this, the movie has to be either MPEG or AVI. How do I save the movie this way instead of WMV?

I've also tried saving it to a CD-RW, but when I play it on my DVD player, nothing happens. The DVD player has CD-RW playback. What am I doing wrong?

You choose "DV-AVI (NTSC)" when you save from the dropdown on the "other
settings" setting on one of the wizard pages.

What you have on your CD is a WMV file and DVD players do not play these.

The option "save to CD"really sucks, since after you do so you can only play the cd on the computer. They should have an option where we could save it to cd using the SVCD or VCD format. Regarding the conversion from WMV to mpeg, you might have to use the software "TMPGEnc" which is free and available online. Good luck.
