Hi, I have a file with previous redline edits in it. When I accept the
changes and save the file, I can still see the past edits if I use
Tools/Highlighting. What is the best way to save the file and not have
someone see the past changes? I am using Word 2000. Thanks.

Charlie

The safest way is to copy everything except the last paragraph mark into a
new document.

You could also get a 3rd party program, like Payne Consulting's Metadata
Assistant to clear out all the Metadata.
