Saved Photos convert to BMP instead of JPGs

When I save a photo from the web or other, it is not saved as a JPEG but
rather a BMP. Wondering if the Adobe Business Deluxe for Photos is
automatically converting them. Any idea how to check or where to go to
convert back to JPEG instead of BMPs? Thanks in advance

First thing to do is to prevent saving as BMP instead of JPEG.
Go to the following site, bottom of the page and follow directions:

Easy enough to do.
If you have BMPs and you want to convert them to JPEGs, you can use the free
