Saved over a needed file

Hello - I saved over a file that my assistant needs, am I able to retrieve
it? I hope I'm not screwed. Thanks in advance.

Unless you have a back-up to revert to,
OR
You might need to spend hundreds ( or more ) of dollars on one of those data
retrieval companies that you can easily find on the web.
