Saved file and its size increases!

I have a file which has 2 sheets, not a heap of data. It
was all fine till someone pasted some info in (not much
either) but now its gone up to 32mb. Could this be some
kind of corruption? I just removed some filled in lines
(they were all white) (55,000 of them) thinking this
should reduce the size but it then went up by another
0.5mb!

Hit ctrl-End (on each sheet). Do you think it goes to the bottom right corner
of your data or is way past where you think it should be?

to reset the used range.

But 32 meg seems excessive. No chance that you have pictures (or other objects)
in the worksheets that you don't want?

F5 (or edit|goto)
special
objects

will select the objects on the sheet

Hit delete and save that as a new name--then check the size.

(just in case there were objects you wanted to
keep--buttons/dropdowns/comboboxes/etc.)
