In envelopes and Labels I created an address and tried to print it.
Owing to a printer error it wouldn't print
I got the option 'Save address', so I saved it.
Now I can't find it.
I tried a normal search for it, then a search using the date it was created.
(today), but I couldn't find it.
When you save an address, where is it saved to?

PS. I tried entering a comment re a MS search and got this message
There was an error retrieving comments. Please try again in a few minutes

Which Word version? How did you create the address? The envelope label
function provides only the option to insert addresses from Outlook.

G'day Graham.

Which Word version?
Word 2003 Part of MS Office Pro. 2003
How did you create the address
Using 'Letters and Mailings/Envelopes and Mailing'
I don't use Outlook

Had to manually search for your reply. The Email link didn't work

There is no function Letters and Mailings/Envelopes and Mailing - there is
an Envelopes and Labels and there is Mail Merge. The former offers no
function to save addresses (though if you click the use Return address check
box and type in an address, you will get a prompt to save that address as
the new return address. That information is stored at tools > options > user
information > mailing address.)
You can create address lists from mail merge which are stored as mdb files,
by default I believe in the My Data Sources folder - see
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm
The only addresses that you can insert into the address/label tool are those
from Outlook contacts, and only when Outlook is the default e-mail
application.
As for your forum issues. The forum you used to access this newsgroup is one
of many similar forums of varying uselessness. The lack of e-mail feedback
is a common theme. Those of us who answer the questions posted here, tend
not to use any of the web forums (though Google Groups is often suggested)
but prefer to access the news server directly - see

Thanks Graham,
I don't really know what went wrong.
After the printer glitch I got a Save prompt .
I clicked YES to save it.
I'll have a look at the sites you suggested

When the game is over, the King and the pawn share the same box.
