hello, this is new to me so please bear with me.
i have recently formatted my hd ( it used to have windows me on it )
now once the format had finnished i put xp pro on that was straight forward
and i dont have any issues yet except when the pc boots i get this message
" SAVE TO DISK FILE NOT FOUND
SAVE TO DISK FILE IS DISABLED
RUN PHDISK.FILE CREATE NEW"

i have tried to do the above but with no joy either by going into comp
mangmnt or via the command promt.

if i use comp mangmnt and right click c: i dont have the option to enable
highlighted
and when i use the command prompt PHDISK it does not reconise it.

as i said this is all new to me because i'm a novice hope someone can
help, also what does it actually do??
