Save individual Volume settings with multiple user accounts?

Is there a way to save individual volume settings for each user in XP Home?
When I log in to my user account after my father has been watching the
weather forecasts, the volume is turned up all the way. If I turn it down
and log off, then he has to turn it back up again. It seems the answer
should be simple, but I haven't been able to find it yet. Thanks for any
help you can give.

Here is a commandline tool with multiple functions:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html

It can set the volume level and mute/unmute. You can put
a link to it in with suitable parameters in the Startup folder
of each user.

Thanks for the reply. This looks like a most useful utility. Several other
utilities available at the site I downloaded as well.
Thanks again
