Save html with png pictures

I would like to know why Word 2007 saves html pages with gif and png
pictures? IE7 shows the png pictures well but Firefox uses gif pictures? I
would like to save all the pictures in png format so that every browser
should show them correctly.

Hi Jarzka,

Not all browsers support PNG graphics. The Settings in the Web Options
Office Button=>Word Options=>Advanced=>General=>Web Options
play a part in that. You'll also get multiple graphic copies if you resize a graphic in a Word web document from the size it was
when using Insert=>Picture.
