Save current drive assignments

I have quite a few drives assigned to specific letters. Drive C - boot,
Drive D = Data etc

Is there a way to save these settings just in case I have to re install XP.

Redoing the drive assignments is a hassle every time.

Thanks for the answers, from which I surmise there is NO way to save drive
assignments.

No, there no official way to save the letter assignments.

But my commandline tool ReMount makes the changes easy.
Sample:

remount x: y:

would change letter x to y.
