Our CEO likes to open attachments from outlook work on them and then just
save them which in turn puts it into the OLK temp folder, then he can't find
the documents he was working on, then becomes frustrated. I and my co-worker
have explained several times that he needs to do a save as and save it in
his My Doc's folder. But being the CEO, that's too much for him to do. So
what I would like to do is have outlook prompt him to do a save attachment
and have him choose a location preferably have it default to his my docs
folder. please for the love of god, does anyone know how to do this, or is
there anything similar to it, so that this stops happening! I would really
like to keep my job and quit bumping heads with him over this issue. Thanks
guys!!

That helps! How can I change that to automatically point to his MY DOC's
folder?

Can I change

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security

Value Name: OutlookSecureTempFolder <------ to c:\my documents??
Date Type: REG_SZ

And have it save those attachments in there?

I believe that's the idea. I haven't tested it, but from what I understand,
that's the purpose of that registry value.

Give it a shot and let us know what happens.
