Running Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627)

I have a non MS app that runs reports and sends them to me via e-mail with
attachments of .xls (1 per e-mail).

I get 30 each week and would like to have them automatically save the
attachment to a pre-determined directory and then move the e-mail out of my
inbox and into a folder.

I can get the move done easy enough with a rule, but don't know how to have
it automagically save a copy of the attachment to a directory as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For bonus points, it would be great if when it saved, it saved as .csv not
..xls which is how it originally arrives. Right now I do this all by hand
and it is very monotonous.

Thanks in advance for any help/ideas.

If I don't hear back sometime next week, I will try a post in the
microsoft.public.outlook.general newsgroup. Don't want to post both at
once.

This is not something that Outlook can do natively, but have a look here for
some other options: http://www.slipstick.com/addins/housekeeping.htm#user
