When I save my presentation as a Webpage, there are xml, html, jpg, gif, ...
files created in a folder.
My question is now: how does ppt generate this html & xml-files? Is there a
webpage or tutorial that explaines how a powerpoint-presentation is
converted into a webpage (timing, text, gifs, dynamic movements, ...
included).
I need to know how they are created, and in which file i can find all the
information.
thnx, KuvaK

The how's and why's AFAIK are not readily available, unless you can get them
directly form Microsoft. Again, AFAIK, there are not Tutorials on this subject
matter. I'd be interested in knowing why you have to know this information.

Programmers at Microsoft wrote code to make it happen. Without a more specific
question, I can't give you a more specific answer. ;-)

As Michael's said, there may not be any documentation of this. I don't know of
any.

Some of it's fairly simple to work out by looking at the code. If you want to
do that, look at Tools, Macro, Script Editor. What you see there is what PPT
will eventually turn into xml/html/images.
