"save as" saving Jpeg as gif from web page

Hi I was wondering if someone can help. I am trying to "save as" a image
from a web page but when I try to save a jpeg and it is saving it as a gif.
The file extension is not declarded in the source of the web page as a jpg or
a gif but when the "save as" dialogue box comes up, it shows that the file
extension is a jpg but has the file name showing the gif extension. As an
example...I am trying to "save as" an image from
http://canada.aol.com/home/index.adp and this is happening. Can someone help
me straighten this out? I need images to "save as" with the proper file type.

Which graphic on the page are you trying to save? I see both .gif and
..jpg file types in the source.

Right click the file.
Select "Save As".
Delete the entire name.
Type in a name with the .jpg extension. Ex: KarenO.jpg
Save it where you want.

If it really is a jpg file and is saving as a gif, this error happens when
your temporary internet file folder get over full. Empty it out and try
again.
