Does Word 2002 and 2003 have the old fashioned way of finding the properties
page?
File, Properties.
dsg
: You don't get the prompt except when you initially save a new, unsaved
: document. If you Save an existing document or Save As under another name,
: you will not be prompted.
:
: If you're using a document as a de facto template, then you can get around
: this (in Word 2002 and 2003) by using the New: From existing document
option
: in the New Document task pane. This uses your document as a template but
: creates a new Document# just as if you had created a new file based on a
: genuine template, which has the double benefit that (a) you can't
: unintentionally save a new document over an old one and (b) you will be
: prompted for document Properties when you save.
