Hi Friends

I suppose this is not the write place to write about LinuX
but.......... when we all are talking about SATA drives.... I should
mention this :

After trying n number of times to install XP on SATA ....... I thought
why not try to install LinuX Red Hat ...........

The Anaconda installer failed to install ..................

So now tell me RAID for LinuX also.

Thanks in advance....

And you question or point of information was? I saw neither; perhaps you can
clarify if you think it is still relevant to this newsgroup.

SATA drives, other than the fact that XP does find it's way onto some of
them, have nothing whatsoever to do with a Microsoft Windows XP Setup group
if the OP is looking to install Linux..

Nerds have no problems with SATA. I have installed both
XP and Linux on SATA based machines. It's usually the user.

later....

If you do not have the mental capacity to install a drive during setup, how
is that the fault of the OS???

So sad to see you pass your incompetence off as a software problem. Sad
part is that you probably believe.

Get a clue.

use Gigabyte mainboards.. I never have to install SATA or SATAII drives
during install.
