Sasser

Hi folks

I have just received a note from one of our Senior Group members:

LSA Shell (Export Version) encountered a problem at (time/date) and needed
to close

When she opens OE she gets the message that OE is closing in xx minutes.

Am I correct in thinking that this is Sasser and if so how do I remove it, I
realise that she needs to update here system but I need to be able to clean
it out and stay online long enough to get the updates.

Start>Run>type the following: shutdown -a
This should keep your system from shutting down
signed;
modelingfrog

Thank you Carey and Frog, the infection is not on my machine but I think I
have enough information to clean it out now.
