sample code to pull stock market info

I am looking for some sample code or an freeware control which will allow me
to pull stock market info along with options.

I think Yahoo used to have sample code.

Normally, only real-time and historic stock market info is charged for.

1 Hour old data is generally free: 24 hour old daily data is always free.
It is part of meeting the requirement to have a well-informed market.

The Yahoo sample code was because this is an obvious example
of internet data that a large number of people are interested in.

Then the problem becomes how to call a webservice from VBA. Perhaps
the OP can google (or bing) for that.
