Same problem for 2 p2p network

I'm setting up a network between laptop(XP home) and pc(XP
pro)

XP home can't browse the shared docs on XP pro and I
required to logon when I click the pc name of the laptop.

I type in my user name and password but it can't work.
I have setup an account on XP home but not XP pro.

What's wrong actually?

A help is much appreciate.

Pop,

You need to setup an identical account on XP Home and XP Pro. If you desire to
access files on XP Pro from XP Home, you need to logon to XP Home with the
account also setup on XP Pro. HP Home, OTOH, gives access to any logon on the
network.
