Is there a way to put the same footer on all Excel pages
at once, i.e., something like "apply to all"? I have 30
worksheets (some with several pages each). Do I have to
set up each worksheet individually withthe same footer?

Select all sheets before you do Page Setup; click the tab of the first
sheet, hold SHIFT and select the last tab. Then setup your page.

Sorry...found the answer right after I posted, thanks to
an email from Bernard Liengme to Diane, who asked the
same thing (answer: click on sheet tab at bottom, hold
down shift, click last sheet, THEN go into page set up
and add footer).

Thanks, Bernard.

Just as a point of information, you can still copy the footer *after the
fact*.
If you have a sheet that is already set-up as you wish, all you have to do
is select all the other sheets to be copied to, and then make sure that the
sheet tab of the main, master sheet is in Bold.
Now, just go to <File> <PageSetUp>
and simply click <OK>,
and all the selected sheets will now have the identical set-up as your main,
master sheet.
