safe shopping features

From 9/17/03 I got information alert everytime :
"As part of the Tools for Interenet Explorer we have now activated
Safe Shopping Features for your browzer....."

At the same time my Word Perfect 10 and Outlock Express stopped
working.

Please, help me to solve this problem?

I have Windows XP and IE 6.0.

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

Mike,
I have scaned my computer already using MCafee Virus Scan. The result
was that there were no files infected. I tried to change my minimal
security settings and I couldn't change the settings because the
computer doesn't allow me to change the existing settings. Most
likely, the problem with my computer is not related with Spyware,
parasites, etc. Thanks for your help.
