yeh, go back in there and see
if that button check all boot paths
finds anything. If it doesnt
modify the ini line items in the boot file
viewer, then see if a \safeboot switch has been
added in there...
if a safeboot switch has been added in the
line item, then this is the cause of why you
are defaulting in safeboot.
if you are unsure about this, go ahead
and open the boot.ini with your notepad
and copy and paste it in your next response so
we can take a looksee.
the boot.ini is in your root directory and
likely to be hidden. so make the appropriate
adjustments in your file explorer to search for
it....
If this seems to be a little time consuming you
can always use your windoes cd to repair
your o.s. as well and as another option...
