Hi,

I have a text in russina that I want to translate to english

So thought I would OCR it, copy-paste into Babelfish and voila ..

However, no voila !!

OCR is Ok and I get the text appropriatlely displayed in teh OCR program
with russian OCR engine.

But when I copy-paste it to wherever, I only get "nonsense" characters, such
as boxes and so on.

Any way to copy them as russian characters and paste them as such into
Bablesfish online web translator ???

Or is this "Mission Impossible-IV" ??

TIA all !!

Depending on your browser, you may have to change the character encoding
used. There are menu options for this you can play around with.

Stupid send button. Anyway, you need to install the cyrillic language
support on your computer.

Explore the options within your OCR program for copying text to clipboard.
Should be no problem once you have the Russian characters on the clipboard.
