I see you are from Scotland! My wife's ancestry on her father's side is
scotish. My wife is very scotish oriented. I kid her saying she has plaid in
her genes. When we got married, I surprised her by giving her a thistle pin
during the ceremony and I arranged to have a piper play the bagpipes at our
reception. Nearly each year we go to Highland Games put on about 100 miles
from where we live. I have to say that I really enjoy that too! It's very
thrilling to see and hear the mass bands of pipers out on the field at one
time. I'm always very impressed by the drum major leading the bands.
It would be a thrill to my wife to get an email from Scotland! I would
