runtime error

I am running win Xp and when my wife logs into her
username, when she starts IE she gets the following
message:

runtime error
program: c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore
abnormal program termination

IE then shuts down.
I am not running AOL.
I have recently downloaded the service pack from the
Microsoft web page.
Wife is also Administrator

Could someone pls e-mail me advice on how i can fix this.

Have a look at this spyware. If no joy the post the complete and exact error
message.
