Hi there!
I got Windows XP PRO SP2 installed on my desk PC, and since a few days
I'm getting this new error msg while trying to launch an application:

_______________________________________________________
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"

Runtime error!!!
Program C:\Programmi\VirtualDubMod\VirtualDubMod.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way...

What does it mean?? How can I solve the problem??
The application has always worked fine before and I didn't modified in
any way... Searching thru' the net I discovered that many people are
encountering this very same problem but with several different
applications, most of them with IE6 or Office, and so on... so I guess
the problem is not in the application itself but in WinXP!
Please, can anyone help me??
Thanks.
Regards.

Have you tried to disable your Google \Yahoo Toolbars and see if this issue will stop.If it does then remove the toolbar and re-install

Hi!
Thanks for your reply!
I don't have those tools installed, but anyway I finally solved the
problem by myself!
While clearing the system, I've uninstalled by chance another
application called Avisynth 2.5.7 RC2, and magically and promptly
VirtualDubMod started working back again!!! The strange thing is that I
upgraded Avisynth to 2.5.7 more than a week ago, and since then I
normally used VirtualDubMod + Avisynth all together without any problem!
Bye bye.
