Runtime Error when clicking links

When clicking some links I get "A Runtime Error has
occurred. Do you want to debug?" Then a reference to a
line number. Then, "The callee (server[not server
application]) is not available and disappeared; all
connections are invalid. The call did not execute."

I thought that I might be able to resolve this problem by
uninstalling then reinstalling IE. However, when trying
to uninstall I get get "IE Q822925. There was an error
trying to uninstall this patch." I don't know if these
problems are related. I also tried unchecking
the "Disable script debugging" and "Display a notification
about every script error" options. The result is that the
page just sits there and the links do not load.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where I might find a
solution.

The problem has been solved. I disabled the pop up
blocker.
