Runtime Error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument in Access 97

Hello Friends,

I get the same error message on the following line of code
when I run the .mdb on my PC.

CommandBars("Menu Bar").Controls("&File").Visible = False

This runtime error does not occur for the same .mdb file
on a different PC running the same version of access. The
mdb was working alright on my PC previously and there
have been no recent software installations that I could
think of.

Please help.

Works fine for me in A2KS.

Have you check the References and make sure that none is
marked as "MISSING"?

Yes, checked the references. None of them are missing.

Try remove a Reference, OK to get out, get back in and re-
select the Reference (as per Douglas J. Steele's article).

Sometimes, this process seems to shake of the Reference
errors.
