Hi All,
I have an X20 thinkpad, it had Win2K on it, until the restore CD went bad.
IBM sent me a WinXPpro SP2 restore CD, as they were all out of Win2K.
I bought a 256MB stick & it shows as 192MB, so the ATI mobility must share
64MB.
There isn't anything in the BIOS to change the MEM size down.
I have all thr eye-candy off & every process at start tuned off that wasn't
needed.
What else can I do, to trim some of the extra MEM usage out?
Thanks
PCfixinman
PS, this is a gift for a friend of my wifes, since thiss woman has no PC &
it would make it easy for her to be able to use it in bed, since she has
Arthritis, I'd like toi make it as useful as possible..I wish the Presario
2100 I have didn;t break down or I'd have given her that!
