manufacturer and model of the motherboard and chipset, Windows might play
nicer with one make over another. Sometimes you might get little glitches
and bugs or the hardware may not be running to it's full optimized
capacity. The board and chip manufacturers may be aware of particular
issues and the drivers will correct these issues. Always make it a
practice to install the motherboard and chipset drivers, these are the
first set of drivers that you should install after Windows is installed.
These drivers may affect how other drivers are configured or installed and
how they ultimately communicate with the hardware. Consult your
motherboard manual and chip maker's website for further information and
installation instructions.
