I recently purchased Word 2003, but am dissapointed that a template I use all
the time will not run in Word 2003. It ran fine in Word 2000. Is there any
way to configure Word 2003 to run as if it were Word 2000?

What is it that doesn't 'run' in this template?

We have the same problem at our company. Documents we wrote using Word 2000
or Word 2002 templates are now not usable in Word 2003. It has cause quite a
bit of difficulty since Word 2003 will not even open the documents written in
the Word 2000 or Word 2002 templates. I don't know what doesn't 'run' in our
templates since Word 2003 will not even open the document. What feature
changed with Word 2003 that might cause this issue?

I get an error when some of the macros try to run stating that the item is
not in the collection, or something similar.
