I'm running this feature and it's asking for the Windows XP Home
Service Pack 2 CD which I don't have since I upgraded online.

I checked the registry and it's cleary pointing to the SERVICEPACK
directory as a source. How do I deal with this?

Hi

Have a look in Windows Explorer for a folder named i386. Try pointing to
that when asked for the SP2 CD.

It doesn't let you specify a point to when asking for the CD> However,
I do have it pointing to that folder in the registry. And that is
working fine, it is not asking for my original XP cd, it's now asking
for the Service Pack 2 CD?

Hi

You can create a slipstreamed SP2 CD and use that:

You can download the SP2 file (266 MBs) from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...BE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en -
or if you have a copy of the SP2 CD, you can copy the xpsp2.exe file from
that CD onto your hard disk/partition and use that:

then follow the directions in the following article to create a slipstreamed
XP CD:
