my co-worker was able to run regressions in the version prior to the 2003 of
excel by going under the Help menu and using Lotus 123. But the 2003
version of excel no longer has this option.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Naraine,

What exactly are you trying to do? Can you give us values, formulas and expected results?

It is not clear from you post what you are regressing on what. Also, I have
never seen native Excel regression output labeled/formatted as you describe,
but the numeric values can be obtained either from the LINEST worksheet
function or from the Regression tool in the Analysis ToolPak (see Help for
either).

Jerry

thank you. I was able to run the regression analysis based on your
directions.
