I am wanting to create a macro to count up a selection of cells, and then insert that number into the equation for each cell in that selction.
I want the macro to run on different selections of cells. For example if i select a1 to a10 and run the macro it will count up the selected cells and insert this into the equation for the cells. However if i then selected the B1 to b16 it would do the same for that selection of cells, ie count the cells, and insert it into the equations for that selction.
At the moment i can only create macros that run on a pre selected set of cells and it always ends up counting those cells, ie always a1 a10 on one macro.
Could anyone give me assistance on what i need to change. Im using the record macro function on the the new vista excel.
Thanks
