Does anyone know how to set up xp to run lotus 123 ver 4 on xp.
I have the program installed by I get a "memory full" error when I load the
file.
It is a large file and I used to run it on windows 98 by rebooting in DOS
mode and setting up the memory.

Thanks Carey, the first two sites don't work and I have all the latest
updates and all that stuff. Do you know how to set up the memory to get lotus
to run like it did when I booted to MS dos mode in win 98?

I don't have a 16-bit program handy, but if I remember correctly, you
can fiddle with the DOS VM settings by right-clicking on it. You can
also try compatibility mode run it under a version of Windows prior to XP.

The other poster is correct, though. You might want to consider
upgrading. I wouldn't count on it working in the long-term.

You can try one of the compatibility modes, Start\All
Programs\Accessories\Program Compatibility Wizard.

However, what you are telling us is that this is DOS based. The further we
get from Windows 9x, the less likely such applications are going to run or,
at the very least, users are going to have more trouble doing so. Your best
bet is to move to a current version of Lotus.

If the compatibility mode won't work, you should try a Lotus newsgroup as
you are working backwards. It's far more likely that a Lotus user will have
a solution then to your problem.
