Running Application from mapped drive

Dear all,

I have a mapped drive that contains an application. I
would like to run the exe progs from there but everytime
i try XP sees them as downloads. How do i stop this
behaviour?

It really depends on the application you're trying to run. Is it written
as a network application, meant to be used in a server/client setup? If
not, this is why you're having problems. Contact the maker of the
software to find out how to accomplish what you want to do.
