I was wondering if anyone know how to run a program as the
shell in windows xp. In windows 98 one could replace
shell= with whatever.exe. Then change it in the command
prompt as necessary. I know it can be changed under the
winlogon key, but if I have problems how can I change it
back?

Hi

I think starting the computer in safe mode would make you able to change back
to the original registry content in winlogon...
