rundll32 is lost

Hmmm...I'm having the same problem, when closing my system down a window
opens up saying its waiting for rundll 32 after waiting it then says that
the program (not sure which program) is not responding. I would be
interested to see what a fix for this is.

I found a fix to my rundll32 problem. I ran Norton Windoctor in System Works
and it fixed my problem.

Go to Start > Run and type 'sfc /scannow'
(Without the quotation marks)
The program will need the XP CD. It will repair and replace missing or
damaged system files.

I got the antivirus search & destroy thingy......the it delted rundll.32.dll.....i think i should have the xp cd....but i don't.....help me get this straightened out...thanks
