rundll32.exe

When I turn off my PC, I get a message that rundll32.exe needs to be ended. When I check the task manager, it shows that it's using 99% of the CPU even I don't have anything else running. I'm unable to shut down the system but need to wait a few more minutes. I tried to observe the task manager without other programs running, but the rundll32.exe is still using my CPU. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
