Rundll32.exe error?

Each time I shutdown WinXP Pro, a box appears
stating "Ending Program - Rundll32.exe". Then another box
appears stating "Program not responding." Does anyone
know kind of problem this is? It also prevents me from
loading some software. Help!

I have this problem too - and I also have a windows
explorer problem which I think may be connected - When I
hit My COmputer a flashlight comes up searching for the
files in windows explorer - it's infuriating.
