I am running Windows XP Professional Edition. It is installed on by D: drive
When I start Internet Explorer 6.0, I get the following Message Box
An exception occurred while trying to run D:\WINDOWS\System32\btien.dll,Downloa
What do I need to do to stop getting this message box from occurring. Currently, I just leave the message box up and continue doing my other tasks.

Hi,

I'd say offhand that your system has a parasite on it. That is not a Windows
files, and from the few references I found, it appears to be part of a
browser hijacker called Huntbar.

1) Install and run Adaware from www.lavasoft.de

2) Install and run Spyware Blaster from
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

3) Turn on the native firewall or install a third-party one (a third party
firewall will notify you of outgoing traffic as spyware programs "phone
home", the native one won't).
