i recently was re-wiring all of the cables going into my
computer and i turned it back on after re-agranging the
cords, and it did not get past the loading XP screen.
Then i went to "last settings that worked" under a menu
that i was prompted with after i re-started. It booted
windows and i could not get past 4-bit color and 800x600
res. So i repaired windows with the XP disk, and got
back to regular XP with right settings and all of my
stuff, but it gave me this error message when i started
it up:
______________________________________________________
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll
A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine
failed.
______________________________________________________
So now i get that every time i boot, and on top of that
it wont see my video card (GeForce 3 Ti 200) anymore.
Yet i can still see whats on the monitor......So i am now
running off the onboard video (and it is horrible) i got
new drivers, but it says that the video card is not there
at all. I have no idea what to do now, i tried putting
the viedo card in again, but the computer just wont see
it. If anyone has any ideas on what to do that would be
great.
Thank you all,
