When ever I close down windows XP I get a message come up asking if I want to
end the program rundll? If I just close windows down and turn the monitor off
it never switches off :( Any ideas whats causing this please/

Hi,

It means some program or process is not terminating properly. Rundll.exe is
a file that runs library files (dll's) at the request of other programs.
It's not the problem but rather the messenger. Hit ctrl+shift+escape before
shutting down and selectively terminate running programs and/or processes
before shutting down, and use the process of elimination to determine which
one is causing the hang. Once you know what is causing it, then addressing
the underlying issue may become easier.
