Need help, what does this mean?

RUNDLL
Error Loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\NvCpl.dll
A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed

Also, keep having system crash analysis recovery from
serious error with the Nvidia diplay driver. Not sure
what to do?

Greetings --

NvCpl.dll is part of nVidia's display drivers. Download and install the
latest drivers for your video card.

QUESTION:
Is it possible that the Macafee Antivirus software
running on my computer is causing this problem or has
blocked/deleted this file thus resulting in this error
message?

I have hp pavillion, would it be better to go to HP
website or microsoft since it is windows xp system?

This problem only has to do with nVidia's drivers. You can goto HP site and
disable antivirus software but that's not going to help. You need to goto
www.nvidia.com click on Downloads and download the latest video card drivers
for your system. Once downloaded you need to install them.

THANKS Chris, I think that is working, I have not had any
more problems since I downloaded new driver and installed
it!!!

greetings

I have had a lot of problems with rundll.dll and error with media
player error 0Xc00D11BB .
I found a web site Merijn.org that has downloads for the following:
rundll32.exe :wmplayer.exe :msconfig.exe :control.exe :msconfig.exe
:notepad.exe :shell.dll :and shell.dll.

It will answer some of your questions for you and if it can help you
with you problem it tells you how to download to your versions of
windows etc. Its worth checking out. It helped me I had to download
wme.player and rundll32.exe and I now can use media player with no
problem as before when I'd go to open an wmp file it would do it for me
I got all kinds of errors.

Check it out you have nothing to lose.

Good Luck.
