Each time I shut down windows,I can't because I get a "RUNDLL32.EXE" Error window and the only way I can shut down the windows is to hit the 'Cancel now' ???..why is this and how do I correct this??..Thank you

You probably have a service or application loading at startup causing this.
MSCONFIG could help in identifying what is causing this. More than likely,
you will find something similar to below (example listed);

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run
RUNDLL32.EXE "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\BRIDGE.DLL", LOAD

Had same problem, found out it was caused by spyware changing the home page in internet explorer, i only got the error message if i had not been on the net. Removed problem by using a programe called CWShredder, type this name in Google to find free download sites for this programe good luck keg62.
