I have a run time license that is 17 charactors long according to the instructions I got it should be 25 charactors long. When I enter my license the FBA fails shortly after bootup with System License Violation Stop 0x00000009A

Nolan,

You used the wrong number. Contact your XPe distributor to got an info the run-time licenses you purchased.
You can read PID numbers on the COA stickers if provided to you.

The PID format should be in xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx format.
If you put wrong number in TD setting, you hit SYSTEM_LICENSE_VIOLATION BSOD (0x9A).

evaulation version on the bottom right side of the display. I've had
several late night typos <grin>

Richard,

Yes, this is true and easy to explain (just hashing).
Btw, jusst fyi, an evaluation image (without PID entered) is actually a run
time with a "bogus" PID in place (TD code places a predefined bogus PID
number if the PID field is blank).

The evaluation text on the screen is no longer there.
