Run Time error

Every time I open a spreadsheet I'm getting a Run-Time
error "1004" method 'sheets' of object'_Global' failed.
Does anyone have any clue what this error means? it's very
annoying. Thank you
 
Does it happen only with one workbook?

If yes, then that workbook has a misbehaving macro. You can either try to debug
it or find the developer and ask him/her what the heck's going on.

If it happens whenever you start excel, take a look at Chip Pearson's startup
error page:
