when I start up outlook. It only turn up the first time open outlook, if I close it and start it up again, it doesn't show. When I restart the comp the problem returns. Outlook works anyway but it's really annonying. Any clues?
I've reinstalled it, but ..

Thanks!!

Version of Outlook? Any add-ins installed? Does it also happen when you
start Outlook in safe mode? (Start- Run-> "path to Outlook.exe" /safe)

Thanks for taking time with me
My version of outlook is 10.0.6626.0 (XP of course)
I only had icq add-in, I've erased the outcmd.dat file. And i've started it in safe mode
Nothing!!!! Very frustrating

The error does also pop-up in safe mode? Do you get an error code? Is there
something logged to the Event Viewer? You might want to disable all the
add-ins manually in Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options->
buttons Add-in Manager/COM add-ins

Hiya

Yeah, I disabled the add-in. Message is " Run-time error 2-2147467259 (80004005)" in a abox labelled System32
Even in Safe mode the message shows. And I've nothing in the event viewer..
What a mystery..

This describes it pretty much;

Look for corrupted COM add-ins or check your VBA editor to see if there is
any code in it for your Outlook session.
