run-time error '438'

hi,
i have a commandbutton on an excel worksheet. on my operating system the
code bellow works but on another computer it prints : run-time error '438'

can you help me to solve this problem?

Sub CommandButton1_Click1()
Dim LNGCOUNT As Long
With Application.FileDialog(msoFileDialogOpen)
..AllowMultiSelect = False
..Show
ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddPicture .SelectedItems(1), True, True, 20, 25, 220, 270
End With
End Sub
 
Are you running the same version of excel?

Application.FileDialog was added in xl2002.

It looks like you could use application.getopenfilename in your code, though.

i did not check version yet. but your code worked ok on my pc. and as soon
as i get that computer i will try this code on it.
